Yellow and maroon long bordered Madurai Sungudi, with silver jari from the templetown of Madurai.
Tamil script has been handprinted all over the body of the saree in maroon.
Please note that ink smudges in handprinted fabrics and other smudges and stains in dip dyed fabrics (Sungudis) are common due to drying them out in the sun and are not considered as defects/ damage.
