The Rajmatha collection- Venkatagiris

Venkatagiri,an artisan cluster situated in Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh was under teh dynasty of Venkatagiri Rajas. The Venkatgiri sarees, popularly known as the Rajmatha sarees were woven exclusively for the royalty of the Venkatagiri Samasthan. Finely spun cottons of 100s and 120s counts was used for the warp and weft.A simple gold border was woven on the edge while the pallou was richly brocaded with motifs worked in gold,combined with thicker coloured tarns worked in jamdhari technique .

Look no less than a queen in these regal collection of sarees!
