This Muthyampet saree is a unique weave- baby blue with fine stripes, and crafted with a single ikat technique. The border is a contemporary multi-colour checks in addition to the vintage Ikat border. While it is slightly starched for storage, after the first use, you’ll discover that it actually has an soft texture and is fit for at least a 100 wears. This fabric is handwoven from the Medak-Nalgonda belt of Telangana state, and takes 5-6 man days to complete. It does not include a blouse.
