Ahalya is a traditional Gadwal cotton in bright MS Blue with pure silk Ganga-Jamuna borders in orchid and mustard and pure silk palla in mustard. The bright colour combinations give a very festive look to the saree.
Doesn't come with a blouse.
These sarees, once the hallmark of Gadwal weaving technique, have become a rarity. It took us four trips and a mammoth effort to find them! Weavers tell us that it is hard to find labour for this specific technique.
