Handblock printing is the earliest, simplest and slowest of all the textile printing techniques. We like the slow printing; the whole process has a subtle charm to it. Right from sculpting the block in reverse to the expertise with which the person rhythmically stamps the block dipped in dye onto the crisp cotton fabric - truly a labour of love!
