Athena is a traditional Gadwal cotton in cloud grey with pure silk Ganga-Jamuna borders in forest green and black and pure silk plain black. Pure zari only has been used.
Doesn't come with a blouse.
These sarees, once the hallmark of Gadwal weaving technique, have become a rarity. It took us four trips and a mammoth effort to find them! Weavers tell us that it is hard to find labour for this specific technique.
